Welcome

First things first, I want to say welcome to my new blog, Kelly's Reading Corner. Reading time is such a special time in our family. I love reading to my girls! I want to instill in them a passion for reading. I recently discovered a children's book publisher, Usborne books. I was so impressed with the quality and content of these amazing books that I became a consultant for them. I present the books at home shows for people who care about the children in their lives (moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends)and want to give these kids healthy, fulfilling, and engaging entertainment options.

Some of you may know my daughter Bethany. My busy, beautiful, bright Bethany. Those of you who know me, know I love to brag about her. When I say she is bright I'm not just talking about her sunny disposition. Bethany is SMART. She learned her letters and sounds well before her 2nd birthday. She loved learning, everything was a game to her and she just picked up everything so fast. She is 3 1/2 years old now and has been reading for some time. The problem was I had a hard time finding good books for her to read. Good, simple, FUN, quality, phoenitic based books. I'm sure many of you have been on this mystical book search yourselves. Whether your child is older or younger, having difficulties with reading or excelling, is disinterested or loves to read, or anything inbetween, Usborne has the perfect book for you. I felt like I had found a hidden treasure. I just LOVE these books! There is so much to choose from, I think my wish list is a mile long.

I love the books we have so far. Reading time has been such a pleasure lately and I am so excited to share some of it with you. Along with seeing my beautiful children :) you will get to see some of the amazing childrens' books that Usborne produces. I hope you will enjoy these clips as much as I will enjoy looking back on these precious memories.
